About The Position

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults through inpatient and outpatient programs. The center is committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education. This role serves the Central & Northern Jersey Region as a contact with new and existing referral sources, while continually identifying and cultivating new referral sources that have the potential to direct prospective clients to Hampton Behavioral Health Center. The regions responsible for are Ocean County, Atlantic County, Middlesex County, and Monmouth County.

Requirements

  • Committed to maintaining strong referral relationships.
  • Bachelor degree in clinically-related field, marketing or humanities, or licensed as RN.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical area.
  • Familiarity with South Jersey healthcare environment.
  • Previous direct sales in marketing psychiatric services preferred.
  • Familiar with personal computers.
  • Extensive travel involved within assigned to the Central & Northern Jersey Region.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the development and refinement of marketing materials, website content, marketing collateral, competitive analyses, standard presentations, and departmental processes, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Develops and maintains strong and productive referral relationships, ensuring the organization is understood by the referral sources and educates them on the Hospital programs.
  • Conducts market research activities to keep abreast of changing patient demographics in order to evaluate marketing and communication activities to the referral sources and community.
  • Develops and maintains strong business and referral relationships with physicians, discharge planners, insurance representatives, and the medical community.
  • Facilitates mobile level of care assessments for patients in other treatment settings for treatment options at Hampton Behavioral Health.
  • Conducts level of care assessments on patients seeking evaluation for psychiatric treatment (with possible co-occurring substance abuse).
  • Provides crisis and supportive contact with patients and families.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation.
  • Coordinates with insurance companies for authorizations of recommended treatment.
  • Maintains facility’s presence in the community by regular attendance at community meetings such as SRC, PAC and mental health boards, along with other community groups as needed.
  • Maintains on-going relationships by visiting each screening center on a consistent basis as designated by the Director of Community Resources.
