Community Leasing Associate
About The Position
As a Community Leasing Associate, you’ll represent Fairfield to prospective residents, guide them through the leasing process, and help create exceptional living experiences. The role combines sales, customer service, and marketing to support the community. The position is at West Village Poway, a community with 212 units. This is a non-exempt role with an estimated hourly rate of $19.86–$25.82; actual offers may vary based on skills, education, experience, location, and job complexity. The stated range reflects base pay only and excludes any applicable allowances, perks, commissions, or bonuses. The role includes working safely and cooperatively with others, meeting performance standards under stressful conditions, communicating effectively and respectfully, and following applicable laws and company policies. Duties involve access to residents’ homes and confidential resident information, including financial information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license may be required.
- At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work safely and cooperatively, communicate effectively and respectfully, and adhere to performance standards and company policies.
Nice To Haves
- Leasing or real estate experience.
- Experience using Yardi or similar property management software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospects and residents.
- Drive the leasing process and close deals.
- Deliver outstanding service to exceed expectations.
- Manage lease files and maintain accurate records.
- Use Yardi software for leasing processes.
- Update social media and assist with advertising.
- Stay informed about local market trends.
- Work safely and cooperatively with others, including supervisors.

- Communicate effectively and respectfully to provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow federal, state, and local laws and Company policies.
