Community Home Health RN, Full-time
About The Position
Provides skilled nursing home visits to clients within the agency service area in accordance with stated policies and procedures. Coordinates therapy visits and supervises Home Care Aide staff. The role requires professional nursing skills, leadership, decision-making, and the ability to adjust to situational needs. The nurse also serves as a resource to communities in Hancock County, providing assistance where needed for Public Health, and travels to patient homes as needed. This is a full-time position for 72 hours per pay period, Monday through Friday. The schedule includes an every-fourth-weekend call rotation and occasional evening hours.
Requirements
- Current Iowa registered nurse license.
- Ability to work independently in a variety of home situations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own vehicle.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Good visual and auditory skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of nursing experience preferred.
- One year of experience working in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Responsibilities
