Community & Events Marketing Manager

E2BSan Francisco, CA
$150,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

E2B is seeking a Community & Events Marketing Manager to own the company's developer community across various platforms like Discord, GitHub, and forums, as well as in-person meetups. This role will also be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of technical events such as workshops, hands-on builds, dinners, and hackathons. The position is focused on creating meaningful developer experiences that translate into qualified pipeline, working closely with Growth Engineering, Sales, and Content teams to identify high-intent accounts, route opportunities, and measure program effectiveness. This is a results-oriented role, not solely focused on brand awareness, requiring a strong understanding of metrics, experimentation, and driving commercial impact.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in community, field marketing, events, developer marketing, or a related role for a technical product.
  • Experience running events with a real budget and a measurable pipeline or revenue target.
  • A track record of building or growing technical communities across channels such as Discord, GitHub, forums, meetups, hackathons, or developer conferences.
  • Strong program-management skills to manage event formats, partners, vendors, budgets, and follow-up motions with operational rigor.
  • Comfort with metrics and experimentation, including defining hypotheses, setting targets, measuring results, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Credibility with developers, understanding technical audiences, and asking informed questions.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts to collaborate effectively with Sales, Growth Engineering, Content, and Product teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in person from the San Francisco office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing infrastructure, developer tools, open-source software, AI products, or usage-based SaaS.
  • Familiarity with the AI-agent ecosystem, including agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.
  • Experience connecting community identities and product usage to CRM accounts or product-qualified leads.
  • Existing relationships across developer communities, technical event organizers, or the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Experience creating technical content, moderating technical discussions, or supporting hands-on developer workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Own E2B’s developer community, including programming and moderation across Discord, GitHub, forums, and other channels.
  • Build systems to surface useful feedback, high-intent users, and emerging use cases from the community.
  • Produce a portfolio of technical events such as workshops, hands-on builds, technical dinners, and hackathons for developers building AI agents.
  • Create an event-to-opportunity engine, defining the handoff process from community or event engagement to Sales, including qualification criteria, account mapping, follow-up ownership, and clear SLAs.
  • Develop programs with agent frameworks, open-source runtimes, infrastructure partners, and communities where E2B’s users are active.
  • Partner with Growth Engineering to connect community identities and event participation to company and account-level signals.
  • Measure the commercial impact of community and event programs, tracking metrics like event-sourced accepted opportunities, cost per accepted opportunity, community-active-to-PQL conversion, pipeline contribution, and engagement across strategic accounts.
  • Run disciplined experiments to test event formats against defined cost and conversion targets, scaling successful programs and discontinuing underperforming ones.
  • Facilitate a community feedback loop, bringing structured qualitative feedback into product, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions.
