About The Position

This position is with an auto glass company that focuses on building fulfilling careers and encouraging a life outside of work. The Community Engagement Coordinator will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for the Safelite Foundation and community engagement initiatives. This includes managing databases, calendars, and correspondence, as well as preparing materials for meetings and donor stewardship activities. The role involves assisting with grant distributions, serving as the primary contact for the Safelite Foundation Portal to support associate volunteerism, and partnering with nonprofit organizations to identify and promote volunteer opportunities. Additionally, the coordinator will support the planning and execution of community engagement programs and signature events, coordinate Safelite's participation in the Spirit of Belron Challenge, and lead the coordination of various "give back" initiatives throughout the year. Maintaining dashboards and reporting aligned to annual goals, and performing other duties as assigned, are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational and administrative support for Safelite Foundation and community engagement initiatives, including scheduling, database management, and calendar maintenance.
  • Prepare materials and support logistics for Foundation committee meetings, donor stewardship activities, and regional champion meetings.
  • Manage correspondence associated with the Foundation inbox and coordinate follow‑up as needed.
  • Assist with grant distribution through the Foundation portal to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Safelite Foundation Portal to support and grow associate volunteerism, including the company’s paid volunteer day.
  • Partner with nonprofit organizations to identify and promote volunteer opportunities; support reporting, recognition, and storytelling efforts that highlight associate impact.
  • Support planning and execution of community engagement programs and signature events, including the Thomas M. Feeney Charity Classic.
  • Coordinate Safelite’s participation in the Spirit of Belron Challenge, including ambassador coordination, travel planning, reporting, and collaboration with communications and analytics partners.
  • Lead coordination of various “give back” initiatives throughout the year, including leadership meetings, departmental events, holiday initiatives, Pelotonia, and cause‑based campaigns.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting aligned to annual goals and provide ad‑hoc research and reporting support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards.
