This position provides day-to-day operational and administrative support for the Safelite Foundation and community engagement initiatives. The role involves managing schedules, databases, and calendars, as well as preparing materials and supporting logistics for various meetings and activities. A key aspect of the role is managing correspondence for the Foundation inbox and coordinating follow-up actions. The coordinator will also assist with grant distribution through the Foundation portal, ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role serves as the primary contact for the Safelite Foundation Portal, aiming to support and grow associate volunteerism, including the company’s paid volunteer day. Additionally, the position involves partnering with nonprofit organizations to identify and promote volunteer opportunities, and supporting reporting, recognition, and storytelling efforts. The coordinator will also support the planning and execution of community engagement programs and signature events, such as the Thomas M. Feeney Charity Classic, and coordinate Safelite’s participation in the Spirit of Belron Challenge. Leading the coordination of various “give back” initiatives throughout the year, including leadership meetings, departmental events, holiday initiatives, Pelotonia, and cause-based campaigns, is also a responsibility. The role requires maintaining dashboards and reporting aligned with annual goals and providing ad-hoc research and reporting support. Other duties as assigned and compliance with all company policies and standards are expected.
