Community Based Support Professional Burbank & Surrounding Area
About The Position
People Creating Success (PCS) is hiring a Community Based Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and surrounding areas. The role is part of F.A.D.E. (Facilitating Alternative Day Environments) and C.I.T.P. (Community Integration Training Program), community-based day services that help participants engage in their communities and increase access to the workforce. The position focuses on supporting participants in community activities, volunteering, events, independent living skills, and person-centered goals. The professional is also expected to provide behavioral and emotional support and maintain accurate documentation. The position is part-time, offers weekday shifts, and pays $20.25 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Compassionate, people-oriented mindset.
- Responsible and able to assist with tracking progress toward goals.
- CPR/First Aid certification; training will be provided if the candidate is not certified or needs recertification.

- Provide a dependable, positive impact in participants’ day-to-day lives.
- Support individuals experiencing heightened emotional responses, complex behaviors, and sensory overload using proactive redirection and calming techniques.
- Recognize early signs of stress or escalation and guide individuals through personalized self-regulation strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed shift logs and progress notes.
