About The Position

The Common Cloud Environment (C2E) Support Lead oversees a team of Cloud Architects, System Administrators, System Engineers, and Technical Project Managers responsible for implementing, managing, and administering C2E customer projects in AWS and Azure cloud environments for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS). The role operates under the direct supervision of the Services Management Division Chief.

The lead reviews service agreements, represents and liaises with C2E customers on operational matters, and provides day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership appropriate to the area of expertise.

Requirements

• Experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate to customers professionally.
• Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent years of experience managing application development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Cloud Architects, System Administrators, System Engineers, and Technical Project Managers implementing, managing, and administering C2E customer projects.
• Review all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), addendums, and cost estimates prepared for customer projects.
• Serve as the principal point of representation and liaison with C2E customers on operational matters.
• Provide day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership, as appropriate to the area of expertise.
