About The Position
Archer Western Construction is seeking a Common Laborer for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role involves performing physical labor on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction jobsites. The laborer may operate hand and power tools, prepare the site, and assist with other assigned duties. Requirements
- One year of verifiable experience is preferred.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolding or ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and potentially work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; may need to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor and other tasks as instructed by a supervisor.
- Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
- Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment.
