About The Position
Archer Western Construction is seeking a Common Laborer for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role involves physical labor on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction sites. The laborer may operate hand and power tools, prepare the worksite, and assist with other assigned duties. Requirements
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and potentially work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

- One year of verifiable experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor and other tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
- Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing and disposing of debris and waste, and digging trenches.
- Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and using equipment.
