About The Position

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Common Laborer for the TCTX Region/DFW International Parkway Bridges and High Mast Lighting Project in Dallas, Texas. The role involves physical labor on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction jobsites. The laborer may operate hand and power tools, prepare job sites, and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

One year of verifiable experience is preferred.
Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolding or ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work may involve adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform physical labor and other tasks as instructed by a supervisor.
Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
Clean and prepare construction sites; erect scaffolding; remove and properly dispose of debris and waste; and dig trenches.
Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment.
