About The Position
The Common Area Attendant maintains a clean, welcoming resort environment so guests can relax indoors and enjoy outdoor amenities. The role performs housekeeping throughout the resort, cares for interior surfaces and floors, replenishes restroom and locker-room supplies, removes trash and debris, protects guest and resort property, and responds to guest, owner, and associate inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping throughout the resort to ensure consistent cleanliness.
- Dust and polish furniture, counters, mirrors, and fixtures; wash floors, windows, counters, walls, and woodwork.
- Sweep, scrub, and mop floors; clean and vacuum carpets; replenish paper products in restrooms and locker rooms.
- Pick up debris, empty containers, remove trash, and transport materials to disposal and recycling areas.
- Take precautions to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found items to supervisors.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and completely, maintaining positive relationships with guests, owners, and associates.
