Requirements

Previous prep cook, line cook, or kitchen experience preferred.
Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen.
This is a high volume kitchen, you will be working on your feet the entire day.
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift 50lbs and be around high temperatures.

Responsibilities

Wash, chop, measure, and cook ingredients to support daily production and large-scale catering menus.
Work with Party Chefs to prepare appetizers, salads, entrees, sides, and more, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
Assist in preparing food for Chicago's top catering events, ensuring all orders are accurate and ready for transport.
Work closely with fellow prep cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
