About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Commissary Lead to join the team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. The Commissary Lead assists management with daily warehouse operations and helps ensure the success of the team. The role leads commissary team members, supports inventory control, maintains safe and clean work and storage areas, and organizes procedures and standards for the warehouse.

Requirements

• At least one year of warehouse, food and beverage commissary, or related experience.
• Previous experience with Excel or a similar database and management computer systems, along with basic math skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others and independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and give clear, concise instructions.
• Ability to pull, lift, move, and carry up to 165 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching throughout the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissary team by assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling team members, and reporting associate issues to the manager.
• Maintain appropriate product stock and awareness of product needs; manage inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated materials, and cycle counting.
• Maintain the safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas.
• Ensure proper closing of the assigned area.
• Initiate and organize procedures to establish warehouse standards.
