Beverage Cocktail Server, Southland Casino
About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Cocktail Servers at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. The role helps enhance the guest experience by providing attentive service on the gaming floor and in beverage outlets. Servers communicate beverage specials, answer questions, take and enter orders, deliver drinks, serve alcohol responsibly, and prepare guest checks. This is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay does not include potential tips. Southland Casino Hotel is owned and operated by Delaware North and features slot machines, live table games, simulcast wagering, a sportsbook, and a hotel. No diploma is required for this position.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names.
- Previous server experience.
- No diploma required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests on the gaming floor and in beverage outlets.
- Communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and follow unit and company alcohol-service policies and procedures.
- Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system, pick up completed orders, and deliver them to guests.
- Prepare and deliver checks to guests.
