About The Position

American Place Casino is seeking a Beverage Cocktail Server to provide attentive hospitality and beverage service in a lively casino environment. The role involves greeting guests, taking and relaying beverage orders, delivering drinks promptly, processing payments, and maintaining knowledge of the bar’s offerings. The server also stocks and organizes the cocktail server room, carries trays, keeps work areas clean, and remains attentive to guest needs and safety. The position requires multitasking, teamwork, and flexibility to take on additional duties assigned by management. Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications required by local gaming regulations.

• Ability to carry and balance beverage trays, stand for long periods, walk throughout shifts in approved footwear, navigate crowded spaces, and bend and reach.
• Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to casino conditions, including bright lights and noise.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications required by local gaming regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience.
• Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to recommend popular or high-margin drinks and upsell.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent service to external and internal guests.
