About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is seeking an experienced Assistant Beverage Manager to support beverage and bar operations at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. The role oversees team performance, scheduling, purchasing, cost controls, alcohol compliance, and service quality while helping create an engaging guest experience. The Assistant Beverage Manager also contributes to policy and menu development, team training, guest relations, and maintaining service and safety standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong food knowledge across a variety of menus.
• Previous experience supervising service team members.
• Experience effectively leading a team.
• Verbal and written communication skills that support a positive work environment.
• Ability to manage personal time and the time of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering beverage and bar-related functions to ensure guest satisfaction, maintain bar cost of sales, and assist with planned restaurant cost of sales.
• Prepare weekly schedules; hire, train, and manage team members; and provide feedback on responsibilities and alignment with Delaware North programs and service standards.
• Complete purchasing in compliance with company programs and policies.
• Help provide a safe work environment by following safety and security policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in meetings, committees, and training.
• Research and develop policies, procedures, menus, and control policies to elevate service standards and staff accountability.
• Coordinate alcohol compliance and quality standards, handle guest relations, and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards.
