About The Position

VP Racing is seeking a full-time Commercial Truck Driver based out of Newark, Delaware. This role is responsible for the safe and secure transportation of fuel products to scheduled destinations, supporting the logistics that power VP’s racing and performance operations. More than just a driving position, this role puts you at the center of the action. You’ll travel to high-energy race tracks and performance events across the country, providing full-service fuel operations on-site overnight and weekends. From delivery and setup to fueling race vehicles and supporting event logistics, you’ll play a key role in bringing the VP brand to life where it matters most. In addition to delivering, picking up, and relocating fuel and materials, you’ll maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs, ensure compliance with DOT and company safety requirements, and deliver exceptional customer service to our partners in the racing world. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid CDL license and medical card
  • Must meet all DOT, OSHA, and company-specific certification requirements
  • Valid CDL License and medical card required.
  • Must maintain all required certifications/ endorsements required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or one (1) year relevant experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.

Nice To Haves

  • HAZMAT and tanker endorsements preferred (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
  • Current HAZMAT endorsement preferred or can be obtained within 30 days.
  • Current tanker endorsement preferred or can be obtained within 30 days.
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ability to make overnight runs as required by shipping needs.
  • Must be able to learn to operate all Material Handling Equipment used by the company.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
