About The Position

Mesa Contracting is hiring a full-time Commercial Dump Truck Driver in Sherwood, Oregon. The role pays $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The driver works with construction crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, on time, and to company quality standards. Duties include hauling construction materials, operating specified truck and trailer configurations, assisting with some work outside the truck, and helping maintain vehicles. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Clean driving record.
At least 3 years of experience transporting construction equipment or materials.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
Dependability, punctuality, safe driving, adherence to strict schedules, and a positive, professional, collaborative team spirit.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections.
Safely load and secure construction equipment on a 3-axle trailer.
Operate an 18-speed manual transmission, commercial solo trucks, and truck-and-pup trailer configurations.
Haul aggregate, soil, and demolition material.
Assist with duties outside the truck, including checking grades and laying pipes.
Perform minor vehicle maintenance and promptly communicate repair needs.
Work with construction crews to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
