About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is hiring a full-time Commercial Truck Driver to deliver building materials throughout Fairfield County and nearby New Haven County. The driver works independently along a designated route, delivering materials on time and serving as an ambassador for the company. This role includes checking in with clients about their service experience, handling concerns, carefully loading and unloading materials, ensuring deliveries reach the correct destinations, maintaining current paperwork, and caring for vehicles and equipment. Drivers are expected to navigate safely and provide courteous customer service.

Requirements

• Product knowledge.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting heavy items and/or using a forklift.
• CDL Class B license and a clean driving record.
• Compliance with safety and Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Attentiveness, organization, and reliability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials on time along a designated route throughout Fairfield County and nearby New Haven County.
• Check in with clients about their service experience and handle concerns with care.
• Carefully load and unload building materials to protect customers' items.
• Ensure each delivery reaches the correct destination.
• Represent the company positively at each delivery stop.
• Keep necessary paperwork up to date.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment.
