About The Position
The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, with on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Frequently lift weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
- Frequently bend, twist, and kneel, and continuously squat, reach, walk, and stand.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels, including repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
- Attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install, rebuild, relearn, and calibrate tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles to provide offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
- Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
