About The Position

Brake & Alignment Technicians service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components while providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role includes working with brake, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, power steering, battery, tire, wheel, and TPMS components. Technicians may also assist other employees, test drive vehicles, and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use service equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
• Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
