About The Position

Brake & Alignment Technicians service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. They provide excellent customer service and complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The position may also involve operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians. The stated pay range is $16.50–$26.45. Benefits are available to full-time positions after eligibility criteria are met and are subject to change and governed by plan documents and Company policy. Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling; continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
