About The Position

Pomp’s is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain commercial customer tires to support vehicle safety and optimal performance. The role includes mounting, dismounting, and replacing tires; assessing customer needs; inspecting tires and vehicles; and performing tire rotations, balancing, and repairs. The technician also maintains an organized work area and properly cares for tools and equipment. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager to support team operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs to provide effective solutions.
• Inspect tires and vehicles for additional issues or maintenance needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support team operations.
