About The Position

The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Duties include tire and wheel installation and maintenance, repairs, rotations, inflation, wheel attachment and rebalancing, and TPMS installation, rebuilding, relearning, and calibration. The technician may also wash tires and wheels, test and install batteries, use and maintain equipment, assist other employees, test drive vehicles, and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The role also promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, with on-the-job training. Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain commercial tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate it as needed.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
