About The Position
The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for selling, servicing, and maintaining commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab provides on-the-job training for a variety of skills.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Frequently lift weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
- Frequently bend, twist, and kneel, and continuously squat, reach, walk, and stand.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels.
- Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install, rebuild, relearn, and calibrate TPMS.
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test-drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales using the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
