About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring Commercial Tire Technicians to repair and maintain tire- and wheel-related needs for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role involves servicing commercial tires on diesel- and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment, maintaining equipment and inventory, and coordinating job status and paperwork with the Service Manager. The company is open to training candidates who demonstrate the skills, drive, and commitment to succeed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of tire experience, with a strong preference for commercial and heavy-duty tire experience.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be insurable to drive according to company standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a rotating, on-call schedule that includes nights and weekend shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Stable work history.
• Experience mounting and dismounting various sizes and types of tires, preferably commercial tires.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and repair various commercial tires.
• Perform tire service on diesel- and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, inventory levels, and workspace cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager on job status and completion of paperwork.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
