About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a mobile commercial fleet tire technician to repair and maintain tires and wheels for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role involves servicing commercial tires on diesel- and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment, while maintaining equipment, inventory, and a clean workspace. The technician coordinates with the Service Manager regarding job status and paperwork. The position requires availability for a rotating on-call schedule that may include overtime, evenings, nights, and weekends. Candidates must meet the company’s driving standards and pass a background check and drug screen. Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurability under company driving standards.
• At least 1 year of tire experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment.
• Customer service and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule that includes nights and weekends, and availability for some overtime and evenings.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Stable work history.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial and heavy-duty tire experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and repair various commercial tires.
• Perform tire service on diesel- and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and inventory levels, and keep the workspace clean.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager on job status and completion of paperwork.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
