About The Position

This posting is a talent-pipeline notice for future opportunities with Insurance Office of America (IOA), rather than a notice of a specific immediate opening. Opportunities may include Senior Account Manager and Account Executive roles, with the best fit determined by a candidate’s experience, interests, location, and business needs. Book areas may include Construction, Transportation, and Condo/Habitational. Work mode may be remote or hybrid and can vary based on business need. Senior Account Managers may maintain technical and industry expertise; direct the daily activities and workflow of the account management team; manage customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis; and oversee policy expirations and renewals. Renewal work may include client research, preparing submissions, negotiating coverages, and presenting proposals. The role may also include monitoring receivables and collecting outstanding balances, maintaining accurate agency and carrier/vendor systems, tracking activities and suspense items, communicating workload status and issues, providing responsive service, following company policies, improving team practices, and demonstrating IOA values. Account Executives may lead the account team’s daily workflow, apply technical expertise and sound judgment, manage client relationships, conduct meetings, and close business. They may serve as a communication link between Producers and the account team and oversee account activities such as policy administration, billing, claims, expirations, renewals, research, submissions, and binding coverage. Additional duties may include collecting outstanding balances, maintaining accurate system data, tracking activity completion, providing excellent service, following company policies, adopting best practices, and demonstrating integrity and leadership. Qualifications and responsibilities may vary by specific opportunity, level, location, area of focus, and business need. IOA may contact applicants as matching opportunities become available or invite them to an introductory conversation. Outreach timing may vary and could be immediate.
