Experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technicians
About The Position
Tecta America New England is seeking commercial roofing lead and experienced service technicians in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The company offers full-time, year-round work and career advancement opportunities. Experienced Service Technician pay starts at $25+ per hour, based on experience, and the position includes a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500. Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers install, maintain, and repair commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, and PVC. The work takes place in the field, with exposure to heights, noise, and varying temperatures. Travel is mostly local, within one hour. Applicants offered a position must complete and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- Commercial roofing experience is preferred; the company is willing to train the right individuals.
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds regularly and 50+ pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders.
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites and the warehouse.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
