About The Position

Tecta America New England is hiring commercial roofing lead service technicians in Portland, Maine. Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, the role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, and PVC. The position offers full-time, year-round work, with pay starting at $25 per hour, based on experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 is offered. Actual compensation depends on factors including knowledge, skills, training, and experience; the position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits, and other compensation. The work takes place primarily in the field, with exposure to heights, noise, and varying temperatures. Travel is mostly local, within one hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift more than 25 pounds regularly and more than 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders.
Reliable transportation to and from jobsites and the warehouse.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
