About The Position

Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Estimator to join its growing team. The position combines field and office work, including visits to commercial roofing sites, gathering measurements, and preparing detailed estimates and proposals. The estimator works with internal teams and clients to define project scope, provide roofing solutions, and support accurate project execution while maintaining strong customer service. This is an on-site role with local travel to roofing job sites in a company-provided vehicle. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed and two Saturdays per month from April through October. Ten- to twelve-hour days are common during peak roofing season.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial roofing experience.
• 1–2 years of estimating experience.
• Knowledge of low-slope roofing systems.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site evaluations for commercial roofing projects and gather accurate measurements for estimating.
• Develop detailed estimating proposals for roofing systems, materials, and labor.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scope and execution.
• Maintain strong customer service throughout the estimating process, from initial contact to proposal delivery.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear expectations and roofing solutions.
• Manage multiple estimating projects while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Travel locally to roofing job sites using a company-provided vehicle.
