About The Position

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and other institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial real estate finance transactional experience gained at a law firm
  • Experience representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and other institutional clients in sophisticated real estate transactions
  • Experience handling commercial real estate financing transactions, including acquisition financings, development financings, construction loans, and other secured lending matters
  • Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents, mortgages, deeds of trust, security agreements, and related financing documentation
  • Experience with title and survey review, due diligence, and transaction closings
  • Experience managing complex transactions and coordinating with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work directly with clients and assume significant responsibility
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

  • Representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and other institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Handling commercial real estate financing transactions, including acquisition financings, development financings, construction loans, and other secured lending matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating loan documents, mortgages, deeds of trust, security agreements, and related financing documentation.
  • Conducting title and survey review, due diligence, and transaction closings.
  • Managing complex transactions and coordinating with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel.
  • Working directly with clients and assuming significant responsibility.
  • Participating in a partnership-track opportunity.
