About The Position

A premier national law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity funds, REITs, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience representing developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, private equity funds, and institutional clients
  • Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, joint ventures, leasing, and financing transactions
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, operating agreements, and joint venture agreements
  • Experience reviewing title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and other due diligence materials
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

  • Experience with commercial real estate finance, development, and investment transactions is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity funds, REITs, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, joint ventures, leasing, and financing transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, operating agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Reviewing title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and other due diligence materials.
  • Managing sophisticated transactions independently while maintaining significant client interaction.
