About The Position

A leading international law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity sponsors, and other institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a large or sophisticated law firm
  • Experience handling a broad range of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing transactions
  • Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, REITs, and other market participants
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transaction documentation
  • Experience managing due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction closings
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work directly with clients and assume significant responsibility
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

  • Experience with real estate joint ventures, development projects, and complex financing transactions is preferred
