About The Position

A premier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing sophisticated clients in complex commercial real estate transactions across a broad range of asset classes and industries.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience handling a broad range of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions
  • Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, REITs, and other market participants
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, financing documents, leases, and related transaction documentation
  • Experience managing due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction closings
  • Ability to assume significant responsibility and maintain substantial client interaction in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with joint ventures, real estate fund formations, infrastructure and privatization transactions, and secured financings is preferred
