About The Position

A premier international law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity sponsors, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

  • Attorneys in law school classes 2020–2024 are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience handling commercial real estate transactions gained at a sophisticated law firm.
  • Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, REITs, and other market participants.
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing transactions.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and other transaction documents.
  • Experience managing due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction closings.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated transactions while working directly with clients and deal teams.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required.
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real estate joint ventures, development projects, and complex financing transactions is preferred.
