About The Position

This role is for an organized and collaborative site supervisor who thrives on keeping projects, people, and processes running smoothly. The Commercial Operations Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating the daily operations of commercial restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The supervisor acts as a link to keep operations organized and on track, supporting project managers, field teams, and administrative staff by coordinating schedules, tracking resources, and maintaining documentation across multiple active projects. Daily tasks include reviewing job progress, ensuring safety standards are followed, and aligning teams toward shared goals. The role involves collaborating with leadership to improve processes, resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication between departments. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential for smooth project execution and exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial operations, project coordination, or construction management, preferably in disaster restoration/abatement or a related industry.
  • Ability to travel across Ontario from site to site.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort with project coordination tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Understanding of construction or restoration processes and documentation standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in construction, business administration, or a related field.
  • IICRC certifications.
