About The Position
The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for Flender’s Wind Business Segment execution of sales orders as well as monthly revenue conversion. This role demands interdisciplinary leadership and interdepartmental coordination as well as independent thinking. Experience in Flender’s internal processes and products or gearing industry is a welcomed plus. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in process improvement and be proficient in SAP or similar MRP/ERP System. The position will report to the Wind Segment Manager based in Elgin, IL. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations from initial job input to final customer communication and always prioritize customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years SAP experience
- Strong leadership and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Strong risk analysis and mitigation skills
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and prioritize work
- Strong analytical skills for data assessment and decision-making
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the facility
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Flender’s internal processes and products or gearing industry is a welcomed plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead Order Management department of the Wind Business Segment
- Optimizing order management process for exchange components, field repairs and shop repairs
- Automizing processes and tasks related to order management (order entry, order confirmation, invoicing, etc.)
- Track and maximize Wind Business Segment revenue on a monthly basis
- Analyze and synthesize data related to revenue, order management and order processing to enable decision making and process improvement
- Close coordination with other company departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely commercial fulfillment of orders
- Acts as escalation instance for resolving issues with customer service, delivery and commercial
