About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an associate attorney for its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice in its Walnut Creek, California office. The practice handles state and federal litigation, appeals, and regulatory proceedings for local, national, and international clients, as well as government agencies. Its clients include corporations, small businesses, individuals, and entrepreneurs across a range of industries. The associate will represent companies in complex commercial litigation matters, including financial fraud, securities, contract and fiduciary-duty disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, loan disputes, construction litigation, and UCC litigation. The role involves all facets of litigation, from discovery and depositions through motions, court appearances, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Requirements

One to seven years of complex commercial litigation experience representing companies in federal and state litigation matters.
Experience in all facets of litigation, including motions, depositions, complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Admission to the California Bar.
