About The Position

The Commercial Lines Account Representative at Frost Insurance Agency supports Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers by helping deliver accurate, complete insurance services and a high-quality customer experience. The role reviews policies and policy changes received from insurance carriers, processes client-requested changes, maintains client records, and assists with renewals and account remarketing. Requirements

• Texas General Lines Agent License: Property and Casualty (P&C), or attainment within 90 days.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance policies and policy changes received from carriers for accuracy and completeness, request corrections as needed, and advise senior staff of potential problems or discrepancies.
• Request and process policy alterations with insurance carriers in response to client change requests.
• Invoice and deliver policy documents to clients, supporting thorough record-keeping and communication.
• Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage as requested by customers.
• Follow up on billing notices and non-payments received from Account Managers to minimize the risk of customer defaults.
• Work with Account Managers to issue renewal summaries and applications for Producers to review with clients.
• Assist Account Managers with account remarketing preparation by ordering Loss Runs to assess claim activity.
