About The Position

The Employee Benefits Account Representative at Frost Insurance Agency provides administrative support to Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers for an assigned book of business. The role uses a collaborative approach to maintain and expand assigned accounts and process documentation for new accounts. The representative supports clients and internal teams through renewal preparation, new and renewal business placement, proposal preparation, administrative processing, and research into claims and billing inquiries.

Requirements

• Texas General Lines Agent License: Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or attainment of the license within six months of employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Insurance professional designation such as CISR, ACSR, CRM, or CIC.

Responsibilities

• Assist Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers in preparing for upcoming renewals with sufficient advance preparation to meet client and carrier needs.
• Gather information for placement of new or renewal business, including requesting quotes from insurance carriers, partners, and vendor resources at the request of the production or service team.
• Prepare proposal documents to help clients decide whether to purchase insurance products.
• Respond to client questions and problems, escalating serious issues to a Producer, Account Executive, Account Manager, or other senior staff member.
• Document and process administrative requests for changes or services, including coverage changes, eligibility processing, cancellation requests, and other documents or actions in the agency management system.
• Research client claims and billing inquiries upon request.
• Provide support for accounts or clients assigned to other personnel when necessary.
• Prepare accounts for re-marketing before renewal.
