About The Position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager supports the marketing, servicing, and underwriting processes for commercial lines accounts. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate client records, processing renewals on time, handling endorsements efficiently, and communicating clearly and professionally with clients. The Account Manager works closely with Account Executives, Producers, and Carriers to provide service and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of commercial lines insurance experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems, such as Applied Epic.
• Understanding of agency workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of commercial lines business, including renewals, policy changes, billing, and day-to-day servicing.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
• Support new business production in collaboration with producers and account executives.
• Evaluate client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Coordinate and process policy documents, including binders, ID cards, insurance summaries, and certificates.
• Handle client billing, including invoicing, reconciling account discrepancies, and tracking outstanding payments.
• Participate in client and carrier meetings as needed.
