About The Position

Mason Equity Group is seeking a confident, motivated, and highly organized Commercial Leasing Specialist to join its property management team. The role focuses on leasing commercial spaces across Columbus, Marysville, Delaware, Johnstown, and surrounding markets, building relationships with prospective tenants, and providing exceptional customer service. Direct commercial leasing experience is preferred but not required; candidates with sales, retail management, customer relations, or other client-facing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in commercial leasing, tenant relations, property operations, and portfolio management while working directly with the Commercial Property Manager. Responsibilities

• Conduct professional tours of available commercial spaces throughout the assigned markets.
• Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries, build relationships, and follow up throughout the leasing process.
• Prepare, coordinate, and complete commercial leasing documentation accurately and on time.
• Market available spaces through online listings, advertising platforms, signage, and other outreach.
• Identify opportunities to generate leasing activity, attract prospective businesses, and reduce vacancies.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective tenants, tours, applications, and leasing activity.
• Help ensure commercial plazas, storefronts, and available spaces have excellent curb appeal and are presented professionally.
• Visit properties routinely to identify improvement opportunities, maintenance needs, and marketing enhancements.
• Coordinate with the Commercial Property Manager and maintenance teams on property presentation concerns.
• Assist with photography, listing updates, marketing materials, and promotional initiatives.
• Provide customer service to prospective and existing commercial tenants.
• Maintain accurate and detailed leasing records, communications, and documentation.
• Manage competing priorities, appointments, deadlines, and follow-ups with minimal supervision.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, internal team members, and prospective businesses.
• Support the Commercial Property Manager with leasing initiatives, reporting, and other operational responsibilities as needed.
