Commercial Insurance Agent - Must Live in AZ
About The Position
The Commercial Insurance Agent quotes and writes personal and commercial lines of insurance, develops new business, meets sales goals, and provides customer service to insurance clients. The role supports AAA Arizona lead generation across its Travel, Insurance, Automotive, and Financial business lines, and maintains records and files according to department and club guidelines. This is a full-time remote position for candidates who live in Arizona, with occasional required in-person or office meetings. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated starting annual salary is $33,602 to $42,002 based on experience, with the ability to earn commission and potential participation in incentive plans.
Requirements
- Must live in Arizona.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- At least 6 months of experience selling P&C lines of business in a fast-paced, multitask work environment.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Commercial Insurance experience.
Responsibilities
- Quote and write personal and commercial lines insurance, including auto, homeowner, life, health, business owners, and workers’ compensation.
- Prospect within the community and through various resources to develop new insurance business and create brand presence.
- Meet or exceed sales goals set by management.
- Provide customer service to insurance clients.
- Support the lead generation initiative by providing qualified leads to AAA Arizona’s Travel, Insurance, Automotive, and Financial business lines.
- Maintain records, logs, and files according to department and club guidelines.
- Demonstrate thorough and competent skills in industry and Club computerized systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
