Commercial Insurance Agent - Must Live in AZ
About The Position
The Commercial Insurance Agent quotes and writes personal and commercial lines of insurance, including auto, homeowner, life, health, business owners, and workers’ compensation coverage. The agent develops new business by prospecting in the community and through various resources, works to meet or exceed sales goals, and provides service to insurance clients. The role also supports AAA Arizona’s lead-generation initiative by providing qualified leads to its Travel, Insurance, Automotive, and Financial business lines. The agent maintains records, logs, and files according to department and club guidelines and uses industry and club computer systems competently. Other duties may be assigned. This is a full-time, remote position for candidates who live in Arizona. Occasional in-person or office meetings are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated annual salary range is $33,602–$42,002, based on experience, with the ability to earn commission and eligibility for an incentive plan depending on position.
Requirements
- Must live in Arizona.
- Valid Arizona driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- At least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced, multitasking work environment selling P&C lines of business.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Commercial Insurance experience.
Responsibilities
- Quote and write personal and commercial insurance, including auto, homeowner, life, health, business owners, and workers’ compensation.
- Prospect in the community and through various resources to develop new insurance business and create brand presence.
- Meet or exceed sales goals set by management.
- Provide customer service to insurance clients.
- Provide qualified leads to AAA Arizona’s Travel, Insurance, Automotive, and Financial business lines as part of the lead-generation initiative.
- Maintain records, logs, and files according to department and club guidelines.
- Demonstrate competent use of industry and club computerized systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
