About The Position
Frank Gay Commercial Services is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The technician will work with rooftop units, large 30-ton split systems, chilled water systems, and cooling towers, as well as high- and low-voltage HVAC electrical systems and controls. The role emphasizes effective problem-solving, strong customer service, clear communication, safety, and ongoing manufacturer training. On-call duty is required as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of HVAC/R experience.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong HVAC electrical aptitude and technical ability.
- Universal EPA certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with BAS and DDC controls.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
- Work on rooftop units, large 30-ton split systems, chilled water systems, and cooling towers.
