About The Position

WIN Waste Innovations is hiring a Commercial Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with a front-load lift attachment and collect waste or recyclable materials. The role includes picking up containers, some of which weigh more than 1,000 pounds and may need to be moved to a pickup stage area, and transporting material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities when the truck reaches legal load capacity. Drivers navigate high-traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots; skilled backing maneuvers are essential. The driver follows assigned routes and applicable safety, OSHA, DOT, and legal requirements; inspects and documents vehicle condition; communicates service issues and customer requests; maintains containers and customer locations; and completes required route and end-of-day documentation. The position works closely with the Route Manager and Dispatch to support safe, efficient service and meet customer needs. The normal work setting is outdoors and/or in a vehicle monitored by video and GPS. The job involves frequent physical effort, including handling objects over 50 pounds and pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees may encounter dirt, odors, noise, and extreme weather or similar conditions for much of the workday.
