About The Position

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney to join its Philadelphia office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing institutional lenders, private equity firms, finance companies, investors, and developers in sophisticated commercial finance transactions.

Requirements

3–6 years of commercial finance, banking, or transactional experience
Experience representing commercial banks, finance companies, private equity firms, institutional lenders, investors, developers, or other financial institutions
Experience handling complex finance transactions, including syndicated credit facilities and portfolio transactions
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC and the Bankruptcy Code in all phases of commercial finance transactions
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills required
Ability to thrive in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Pennsylvania bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

Experience with workouts, restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, and/or private equity transactions is a plus
