About The Position

Our Commercial Division is seeking a licensed, field-driven leader who executes and troubleshoots installations, supports commissioning efforts, and leads by example. This role enhances field quality, minimizes rework, and provides experienced support and depth under the Electrical Supervisor. The position involves expected travel and is typically field-heavy, with occasional office or warehouse coordination. The technician may support multiple sites depending on workload in a floater/strike-team model.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina electrical license; Unlimited license preferred.
• At least 4 years of commercial electrical installation experience.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small crew when needed.
• Comfort with inspection interactions and punch list closeout.
• Willingness to travel and support multiple sites as workload requires.

Nice To Haves

• Solar, BESS, or EVSE experience is strongly preferred.
• An Unlimited North Carolina electrical license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation tasks for PV, BESS, and EVSE projects, ensuring clean, code-compliant workmanship.
• Interpret plans and one-lines, and coordinate layout and conduit routing with other trades and site constraints.
• Troubleshoot field issues, including control wiring, CTs, communications, and inverter/battery interconnects.
• Support material planning by validating quantities in the field and reporting shortages early.
• Mentor technicians, teach correct methods, and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Support commissioning efforts.
• Interact with inspectors and support punch list closeout.
